Powered by a single 1.0 GHz UltraSPARC IIIi processor and the Solaris OS in a compact 1 RU form factor, the innovative, feature-rich Sun Fire V125 server is designed to help increase availability, enhance throughput and performance, and simplify management and serviceability. The Sun Fire V125 server contains two Ethernet ports on the motherboard, offering considerable savings over systems that use separate PCI cards. The Sun Fire V125 server also comes standard with the industry's only System Configuration Card (SCC), which is easily transferable to a standby system for increased system availability and quick upgrades or repairs. The Sun Fire V125 server's Advanced Lights Out Management (ALOM) also helps enable remote management for a large number of servers from virtually anywhere on the network.
